Wardenheart, and the Heroes of Siluas
Siluas is the continent west of Orlais, past the Hunterhorn Mountains. Centuries ago, the land was occupied by the Tevinter Imperium and later the Orlesian Empire, but has remained culturally and geographically isolated since its independence. It is only known to the scholars willing to brave the dark and dusty corners of ancient libraries, and even then remains little more than a myth. Occasionally, however, some will travel to Thedas from Siluas, and reignite interest in the western lands. Such was the case for the handful of people who traveled eastward in the Dragon Age, seeking the glory of the Grey Wardens.
The Worldstate
Origins
- Dyanne Surana escapes Kinloch hold with Jowan, but must part ways due to Dyanne's phylactery still being intact. Jowan heads to Redcliffe, while Dyanne heads to Denerim.
- Revka Brosca, Galeas Cousland, and Wyam Tabris— in that order— are recruited by Duncan to join the Grey Wardens. Alongside Alistair, they are the only Grey Wardens to survive the Battle of Ostagar.
- In Lothering, the lay sister Leliana and qunari prisoner Sten are recruited to aid against the Blight.
- The Wardens seek the aid of Arl Eamon Guerrin of Denerim, and find the town under siege by undead. They complete a blood magic ritual, sacrificing Arlessa Isolde in the process, to save Arl Eamon's son Connor from the grasp of a desire demon and to stop the undead from rising.
- Zevran, an Antivan Crow, is hired by Teyrn Loghain and sent to assassinate the remaining Grey Wardens. He is unsuccessful, and instead recruited to aid the Wardens in defeating the Blight.
- In the Brecilian Forest, peace is brokered between the local dalish clan and the werewolf pact.
- Soldier's Peak is reclaimed for the Grey Wardens. Avernus is permitted to continue his research under more ethical terms.
- The uprising in Kinloch Hold is quelled, and the lives of the remaining mages are saved from demons. Senior Enchanter Wynne is recruited to aid against the Blight. Finnegan Amell and Templar Cullen Rutherford are transferred to the Gallows in Kirkwall after the end of the Fifth Blight.
- The Wardens briefly return to Ostagar and the Korkari Wilds, finding and burning King Cailan Theirin's body, as well as killing Flemeth to protect Morrigan from her.
- Shale is recruited in Honnleath after saving the town's residents from darkspawn and a desire demon lying in wait.
- The Urn of Sacred Ashes is located in collaboration with Brother Genitivi, and the Wardens allow him to share the location of the Temple. After the Fifth Blight, the Temple of Sacred Ashes becomes a pilgrimage site.
- In Orzammar, the Wardens aid Bhelen Aeducan in securing the throne of Orzammar, as well as discovering— and quickly destroying— the Anvil of the Void. The warrior Oghren is recruited to aid against the Fifth Blight.
- Returning to Denerim, the Wardens free Anora Mac Tir from imprisonment by Arl Rendorn Howe and massacre Tevinter slavers that had taken root in the Denerim Alienage. A Landsmeet is called; Anora Mac Tir becomes Ferelden's sole ruler, and her father Loghain Mac Tir is slain by Wyam in a duel.
- During the Battle of Denerim, Wyam slays the Archdemon, only surviving due to a ritual performed by Morrigan and Galeas in secret.
- Wyam Tabris is named the Hero of Ferelden and becomes the Warden-Commander of the Ferelden Wardens and the new Arl of Amaranthine. His cousin Shianni becomes Bann of the Denerim Alienage. Revka Brosca is named Paragon by the Assembly in Orzammar. Dyanne Surana, who has served as Anora's maid and lady in waiting, is named Chancellor of Ferelden.
After the Fifth Blight
- Six months later, Wyam has assumed the role of both Warden-Commander and Arl of Amaranthine. René Caron is sent from the Orlesian Grey Wardens to act as Warden-Constable and aid Wyam in reconstruction efforts. Alistair, Galeas, and Revka are occupied with exterminating any remaining darkspawn scattered across Ferelden.
- Wyam commits several new recruits through the Joining, including Oghren, the escaped Circle Mage Anders, the Legionnaire Sigrun, the dalish First Velanna, and the attemped thief Nathaniel Howe. The Warden Kristoff is also retrieved from his mission in the Blackmarsh, though he had passed away and became possessed by a spirit of Justice.
- In 9:32, Galeas seeks to reunite with Morrigan, after rumors of her being spotted in Ferelden. They do not return, but their travelling companions— the dalish elf Ariane and circle mage Finn— note that they were successful, leaving with Morrigan through an eluvian.
- In 9:33, Revka returns to the Deep Roads to assist Jerrik Dace in finding his missing brother, Brogan, and uncovering lost secrets on golem construction in the Amgarrak Thaig.
Dragon Age II
Act I
- The Hawke family flees Lothering to escape the darkspawn horde, though Bethany Hawke does not survive the journey, and they only reach Kirkwall with the help of Flemeth. There, Aster Hawke's uncle Gamlen Amell helps them secure passage into the city in exchange for Aster and their brother Carver working for Meeran and the Red Iron mercenary company for a year. Aveline Vallen, who fled Lothering with the Hawke family, is able to get a job with the Kirkwall City Guard.
- Aster and Carver eventually make it to Sundermount, just outside of Kirkwall, to deliver Flemeth's amulet to Clan Sabrae. With the aid of Merrill, the clan's First, they bring the amulet to an altar to Mythal, where Flemeth emerges from the amulet and flies off. Merrill accompanies them back to Kirkwall, and makes home in the Kirkwall Alienage.
- After Aster and Carver's year is up, they part ways with the Red Iron, seeking work elsewhere. They meet Varric Tethras, who offers them a spot in a Deep Roads Expedition run by Bartrand Tethras— if they can help fund it.
- Aster obtains maps of the Deep Roads from the former Grey Warden Anders, in exchange for helping him free his friend Karl Thekla from the Kirkwall Circle.
- Aster performs various odd jobs around the city to raise money, and makes friends with the escaped Tevinter slave Fenris, the former pirate captain Isabela, and the chantry brother Sebastian Vael.
- Aster enters the Deep Roads with their brother Carver, Varric Tethras, and the ex-Grey Warden Anders. Unfortunately, they are betrayed by Varric's brother Bartrand and left to die. Most of them return to the surface; Carver becomes infected with the taint and is recruited by the Grey Wardens to undergo the Joining and potentially save his life. It is months before they learn he survives.
Act II
- By 9:34, the Amell family has once again risen to prominence in Kirkwall, and Aster is well known throughout the city. Viscount Marlowe Dumar even calls on Aster to assist with the increasingly impatient Qunari that have been residing at the docks.
- Aster defeats the Arishok in a duel for Isabela's life, becoming the Champion of Kirkwall.
Act III
- In 9:35, Aster assists Tallis in infiltrating an Orlesian estate to locate a relic.
- In 9:36, after being targeted by Carta hunting "the blood of the Hawke," Aster travels with Carver to an ancient Grey Warden prison in the Vinnmark Mountains.
Inquisition
- The Temple of Sacred Ashes explodes during a Conclave held by Divine Justinia V to meet between the mages and templars. Anaan Adaar of the Valo-Kas mercenary company is the only survivor, and is held prisoner for a few days. He temporarily seals the breach in the sky with a mark on his hand, and is hailed by many as the Herald of Andraste.
- There were many witnesses of Anaan's work sealing the Breach that were moved to join the cause. Enasalas'anehn of Clan Lavellan serves as a scout for the newly formed Inquisition, the Orlesian Bard Cassius serves as a spy, and Helga Cadash serves as a soldier.
- Anaan recruits many to the Inquisition's cause, including the Red Jenny Sera, First Enchanter Vivienne, the Grey Warden Blackwall, and the mercenary Iron Bull.
- The Inquisition meets with the rebel mages in Redcliffe and finds out they've indentured themselves to Magister Gereon Alexius of Tevinter. The Inquisition sets up negotiations with him, only to learn he is working on behalf of a supposed "Elder One." Anaan and Dorian are attacked, supposedly sent into a "future timeline," but are able to return. When Queen Anora Mac Tir exiles the rebel mages from Ferelden, the Inquisition takes them in as allies.
- With the aid of the rebel mages, the Breach is sealed. Their celebration is short-lived, however; the village of Haven is attacked by an ancient Tevinter magister known as Corypheus, with an army of red lyrium-infected Templars. The village is destroyed in his siege, and the Inquisition flees into the Frostback Mountains, reaching a fortress named Skyhold. There, Anaan is officially named Inquisitor.
- Varric reaches out to Aster Hawke and their Grey Warden contacts, Revka Brosca and Alistair, who believe that Corypheus is connected to the Calling suddenly affecting all Wardens in Ferelden and Orlais. They investiage an ancient ritual tower in the Western Approach, and learn of Magister Livius Erimond's plan to bind the Grey Wardens to demons. He is able to retreat to Adamant Fortress before the Inquisition can apprehend him.

- [HLTA Part 2]
- [What Pride Had Wrought]
- Corypheus is finally defeated in 9:42 Dragon. Shortly afterwards, Leliana is named the successor to the Sunburst Throne, becoming Divine Victoria.
